The
death toll from the floods in the Philippines by typhoon sendong (international name: Washi) has reached 652, the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) said Sunday night,

However, in the latest report of the Philippine government's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said that Sendong death toll as of 8:00 PM last night at 334 while seven were injured and 281 still missing.
NDRRMC also reported that Sendong, from Friday night to early Saturday, has affected 22,989 families or 125,250 people in 150 villages in 23 towns and eight cities in 13 provinces.

About 35,000 people remained in evacuation centers after the storm, the
National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.
At least 377 passengers, as of
5 p.m. Sunday, three vessels and one motor banca were still stranded in
southern Luzon and Western Visayas.
Some nine road sections and bridges were
damaged, including four in Cordillera and Caraga; and five bridges in Central
Visayas and Region 10.
